Here I am with Brady Jones - who hates to have his picture taken.... muwahahaha! Lovely tongue I have there... why is it that I can barely ever take a normal picture???
And here is the picture I created yesterday... when I look at it I see things that I should have done differently, but overall I think it turned out well. I haven't quite decided what to do with it...That's all that's new these days... it snowed this weekend and it made me very happy. I took Emma for a walk in it on Sunday and loved watching the huge flakes float down to the ground - they went so slow that sometimes it looked like they were just suspended in the air. There is something about snow that is beautiful and magical - too bad it didn't snow enough to make anything with it. I can't complain though - it's turning out to be a gorgeous day out there!
Anyone have any ideas of a fun way to celebrate my birthday? It's on the 25th - and I turn the grand age of 27... but I am at a loss of what to do. I had planned on going to Chicago for the weekend, but that fell through. Do you have any crazy/fun ideas?

We could go restaurant-hopping in Omaha--a beverage here, appetizers at the next place, split a salad the next place, a steak the next place and dessert at the last place.
OR...
We could sell all our possessions and but plane tickets to wherever U2 is playing next and buy tickets from scalpers to go see them.
OR...
We could hitchhike to New York and catch a filming of The Daily Show!

I decided to look up the importance of the number 27. Apparently these things happened in the year 27:

So your options are to retire from ministry and leave Dan in charge of all of Lincoln CSF including women's ministry, commit some act of arson such as burning down the Colliseum when there's a wrestling match, or go find a bunch of people to dunk under water.
